On the afternoon of 23rd November, in order to further promote the in-depth study of the research project entitled ‘Evaluation& Research in terms of Elementary School Students’ Morality Development in Boarding Schools’，Anqing Foreign Language School’s Primary Department convened the periodical seminar with regard to the issue mentioned above. All members in the research group were in attendance and the meeting was chaired by Director Xu Degao, Principal of the project.
To begin with, in combination with the weekly reviews and the monthly reviews carried out in the classrooms, head teachers involved in the morality development project analyzed the highlighted problems and their causes in students’ behavioral habits. Meanwhile, head teachers exchanged measures& plans in the next step and came up with revision suggestions in regard to the ‘Evaluation Index System’.
What’s more, on the basis of assessment methodology adopted by everyone, research group members further probed into more feasibly appraisal methods. Other than that, Director Xu Degao arranged the subsequent work tasks and put forward relevant requirements as well.
In a nutshell, once again Principal Huang Zuning with the Primary Division laid emphasis on the significance of evaluation and research into the moral character development level. She stressed that the Primary Section should adjust the ‘Weekly Rating Form’ in accordance with the pragmatic status and dynamic state in each class to pertinently implement the moral education work. In the meantime, Principal Huang Zuning reminded each research group member to record their perceptions during the study progress without delay and collect learning materials in the research process.
